Financing and Support

The IICI is comprised of the Institute for International Criminal Investigations (IICI) and the Institute for International Criminal Investigations Foundation (IICIF).  They are non-profit, international organizations dedicated to the training of international criminal investigators, human rights investigators and related professionals in the techniques of investigation of genocide and other serious violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law.  The IICI is an American 501c(3) tax-exempt corporation in the State of California.  IICIF is a Dutch charitable foundation based in The Hague, The Netherlands.

The IICI is grateful for the continued support of the ICC, the ICTY, the MICT and other organisations.  Over the years, they have agreed to requests from IICI to make their staff members available as trainers on IICI courses.  Numerous IICI courses have benefitted greatly from this support, and continue to do so.  They include the International Investigators Course and the SGBV-investigation course.

The Institute is funded by grants from foundations, government agencies and partner organisations, and donations from individuals.  The IICI depends on these grants and donations to continue its work and is grateful for the support provided to date by the following:
