The Institute for International Criminal Investigations (IICI) will hold its 27th International Investigator Course (IIC27) from 22 May to 2 June 2017. The course will be held at the IICI Headquarters (The Hague, Netherlands) and the Royal Netherlands Army School for Peace Operations (Harskamp, Netherlands).
Applications for this course will close on 30 March 2017.
The course is designed to provide experienced criminal investigators and related experts with the additional skills necessary for the successful investigation of serious violations of international humanitarian law, including war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity. Theoretical work is combined with practical exercises.
The training is open to those investigators who have at least five years' experience in criminal investigation, preferably in complex criminal cases, with international experience desirable, or five years' as a human rights investigator with experience in criminal inquiries. It is also open to military officers, criminal attorneys and forensic specialists with international experience. Fluency in written and spoken English is a necessity for IIC27.
The tuition fee for this course is €3750, which includes meals, accommodation and all course materials.
