Fifth Analysis Skills Course November-December 2012

Due to the high number of applications received for the IICI's fifth Analysis Skills Course, the Institute took the decision to hold two courses, the first from 20 – 23 November 2012 and the second from 10 to 13 December 2012.  This meant that the class size could be kept small to ensure quality whilst also enabling all those wishing to participate to do so.  In total some fifteen persons took part in the course, nine women and six men.  They came from: Bulgaria, Singapore, USA, France, Italy, Australia, Netherlands, Uganda, Portugal, Ireland, Russia, Switzerland and Egypt and worked for the following organizations: Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Open Society Justice Initiative, Ugandan Department of Public Prosecutions, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ICC, Netherlands Forensic Institute, State Prosecutor's Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ICTR, ICRC.  The Analysis Course was this year extended to 4 days (from 3) in response to feedback from earlier courses.
